KEY WORDS

KEY WORDS, PRODUCED AND DEVISED BY TURTLE KEY ARTS, IS A SERIES OF PLAYWRITING WORKSHOPS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITH DYSLEXIA.

Meeting once a week for a number of weeks each young person works together with professional playwrights to develop and write their own play. At the end of the project each participant receives an individual printed copy of their play and sees it brought to life by professional actors.

Free to all participants. Key Words was originally developed with the Royal Court Theatre, London Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and Turtle Key Arts and has been held each year since 2012.

"there's one more thing that really struck me. And that was the way that the students themselves, in reality, had the chance to have their ideas, their way of being, their voices, confirmed and validated in the most joyous celebration of difference and neurodiversity." - Teacher
