Following the success of Sadiq Ali Company’s debut show in 2023 the company return with their new show Tell Me, a captivating contemporary circus and dance show that reimagines the narrative around HIV in today’s world.

Combining breathtaking Chinese Pole performances on aerial cubes, the show creates a hypnotising visual spectacle as it follows the journey of a woman navigating her diagnosis.

Based on Sadiq’s lived experiences, Tell Me, the company’s first outdoor show, confronts stigma and challenges outdated perceptions. The three-person cast of acclaimed circus, dance and theatre artists weaves poignant storytelling with inspiring physical artistry to offer a hopeful and empowering vision of living with HIV.

About Positively UK

Positively UK is the lead charity providing peer support to everyone living with HIV, helping them improve their knowledge, confidence, and connections while managing their diagnosis, care, and life with HIV.

The charity offers one-to-one peer support and group work, tailored to the different needs of LGBTQ+ people, women, young people, migrants, straight men and older adults living with HIV. Until recently, their support included the only pan-London peer support service for gay men living with HIV. Due to lack of funding, the service had to be closed. A team of volunteers who have accessed the service are fundraising to revive it.

They also provide outreach in most HIV clinics across London, Derbyshire, Buckingham ere and East Anglia, ensuring clinical and social care is combined with peer support so people can take an active role in their health. Their activities tackle all aspects of living well with HIV, addressing challenges like lack of knowledge, stigma, and isolation. They also run specialised training and workshops, including courses for newly diagnosed individuals, and match trained peer mentors with those who need guidance.

Donations will be used for life-changing peer mentoring support and help fuel the fight against stigma and health inequalities. By supporting Positively UK, you support people with HIV to live well and free from discrimination and stigma.
