Participants from previous Key Word's said:
‘A really good project, it helped me a lot and boosted my confidence’
It made me ‘proud of myself, enabled me to ‘express myself’ and ‘took the fear out of writing’
‘I only found out last year that I was dyslexic, it didn’t help, I just got angry, but this project really helped and now I feel relaxed and confident and I don’t feel there is anything wrong with being Dyslexic now.’
‘It was good to do more writing, in school we are given help but here we were given an extra boost. The best thing about the project I think was to be able to get down and write’.
Usually I’d rather just keep my ideas to myself but this really helped me take out these ideas and put them down”
One mother said that the project had ‘changed her son’s life’
Key Words is brought to you by Turtle Key Arts and The Lyric Theatre Hammersmith. Supported by the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.
