FOUNDED BY WOLFGANG STANGE IN 1980 AND PRODUCED BY TURTLE KEY ARTS, AMICI DANCE THEATRE COMPANY IS ONE OF THE WORLD'S LEADING INCLUSIVE DANCE THEATRE COMPANIES.

Bringing together disabled and non-disabled performers, Amici creates bold, emotionally powerful productions that challenge perceptions, celebrate individuality and demonstrate the extraordinary creative potential of every performer.

Based at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, where the company is Community Artist in Residence, Amici has created more than twenty full-company productions alongside an extensive repertoire of performances, workshops and international collaborations. Using Wolfgang Stange's unique improvisation techniques, the company creates original work inspired by the experiences, ideas and creativity of its members, producing performances that are both artistically ambitious and deeply human.
