BLACK LIVES MATTER: OUR COMMITMENT TO CHANGE

THERE IS NO PLACE FOR DISCRIMINATION OR RACISM AT TURTLE KEY ARTS. WE ARE COMMITTED TO TAKING WHATEVER STEPS ARE NECESSARY TO ENSURE CHANGE FOR THE BETTER, WE KNOW THAT WORDS ARE NOT ENOUGH AND WE HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO ACT.

This process has already begun, in consultation with our trustees, staff, collaborators, partners and participants. We are committed to using this moment to listen, to learn and to try and create effective plans for the future.

We promise at Turtle Key Arts that the work we produce, our team and governance will be representative of our country.

We will ensure that the artists, companies and work we support and nurture will be relevant to and reach a diverse audience and our participation & outreach work continues to celebrate inclusion and diversity. We pledge to support more diverse emerging artists, creative and technical teams to enable the future of our industry to flourish. At Turtle Key Arts we want to contribute to this and know that we can play a part in creating a country with a culture that we can all be proud of.
